The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and analytical Senior Business Applications Administrator to anchor the operational health, configuration, and continuous support of our Salesforce ecosystem and interconnected business applications.

In this role, you will support critical Go-To-Market (GTM) functions—spanning Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and CPQ—ensuring system stability, data integrity, and peak user productivity. You will act as an escalation point for frontline support administrators, champion operational excellence, and actively harness cutting-edge AI technologies (such as Gemini, Claude, and proprietary internal AI tools) to modernize incident triaging and drive automated operational workflows.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Support & Incident Management

  • Advanced Incident Resolution: Triage, diagnose, and resolve Tier 2/3 incidents across Salesforce and connected enterprise applications in alignment with strict response and resolution SLAs.
  • AI-Augmented Operations: Leverage generative AI platforms (Gemini, Claude, and internal custom AI assistants) to accelerate root-cause analysis, automate repetitive support workflows, and optimize ticket triage.
  • Critical Period Support: Provide dedicated operational readiness and real-time support during high-stakes business periods, including fiscal month-end and quarter-end close cycles.
  • Frontline Mentorship: Serve as an escalation partner and technical mentor to frontline system administrators and support analysts.

System Administration & Ecosystem Health

  • Configuration & Maintenance: Manage user provisioning, security controls (profiles, roles, permission sets), workflow automations (Flows), custom objects, page layouts, and reports/dashboards.
  • Integration Oversight: Maintain data flow and operational health between Salesforce and third-party SaaS platforms (e.g., Clari, DocuSign, Outreach, ServiceNow).
  • Release & Change Management: Execute change sets, sandbox seeding, regression testing, and production deployments following structured release management methodologies.

Governance, Compliance & Documentation

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all system changes and administrative practices strictly adhere to TDI security guidelines, data privacy standards, and SOX controls.
  • Audit Readiness: Participate in periodic security and access reviews, proactively addressing vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
  • Knowledge Management: Author and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs), system runbooks, and self-service knowledge base articles for global enterprise support teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in business systems administration or technical application support within enterprise environments.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Strong administrative expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud (configuration, Flow builder, permission management, data loader, reporting).
  • Ecosystem & Tooling: Working knowledge of modern enterprise SaaS stacks, including ITSM tools (ServiceNow or Jira Service Management) and version control/release tools such as Gearset.
  • Compliance & Governance: Solid understanding of enterprise governance frameworks, audit requirements, and SOX compliance procedures.
  • Global Collaboration: Proven track record collaborating effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Communication & Problem-Solving: Outstanding analytical troubleshooting abilities, active listening skills, and clear technical communication for both colleagues and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder.
  • GTM & CPQ Familiarity: Hands-on exposure to Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or common revenue architecture workflows.
  • AI & Automation Enthusiasm: Experience incorporating LLM tooling (Gemini, Claude, custom GPTs) or workflow scripts into day-to-day administrative tasks to improve team efficiency.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
