Senior Database Administrator

Support daily operations, service requests, incident handling, and problem resolution across database environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with infrastructure and application teams.

Participate in database upgrades, migrations, patching activities, and implementation of new solutions.

Contribute to automation initiatives and service improvements, including AI-driven operational enhancements.

Work closely with colleagues across Service Delivery, Projects, Storage, Network, Backup, and Customer Account teams.

Be a part of the 24/7 service and support rotation.

Secure and uphold operational excellence, security, and compliance requirements across managed services.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

Experience working with database administration technologies and environments.

Hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows Server platforms.

Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining database solutions in enterprise environments.

A solid understanding of infrastructure, system management, and service operations.

A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge within a team environment.

The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following will be considered an advantage:

Oracle Database Administration

Postgresql

Mysql

MariaDB

RaptorDB (optional)

Database performance tuning and troubleshooting

Automation and scripting

ITIL-based service operations

Enterprise infrastructure environments

Security and Compliance Requirements

Due to contractual and regulatory requirements, applicants must:

Be based in and work from Denmark.

Be fluent in Danish, both written and spoken.

Be eligible to obtain the required Danish security clearance.

Have resided in Denmark for the period required to support security clearance processes.
