Senior Embedded Software Developer

Job Description:

What You'll Do:

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer with strong expertise in Embedded Linux, C/C++ programming, and embedded systems development. The ideal candidate will develop high-performance software for networking platforms and collaborate closely with hardware and firmware teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based systems.
• Develop high-quality software using C, C++, and Python (intermediate proficiency).
• Work on Embedded Linux, RTOS, and driver development.
• Collaborate with hardware teams on software integration and system bring-up.
• Debug, optimize, and enhance software performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and software design discussions.

What You Need to Bring:

• Strong experience in Embedded Software Development.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Good understanding of embedded systems architecture.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python.
• Extensive knowledge of L2 protocols (VLAN, 802.1x, LAG, etc.) and Ethernet switching in Data path
• Networking protocols is preferred
• MACsec is an asset

Preferred Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience developing embedded software for networking products is highly desirable.
