Senior Frontend Engineer

Our frontend is how thousands of merchants experience Easyship every day. We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead architectural decisions, raise engineering standards, and collaborate cross-functionally to ship experiences that are fast, scalable, and resilient.

What you additionally need to know: this is a full-time, onsite role based in our Bengaluru (MG Road) office. The role follows UK collaboration hours (11:00 AM–8:00 PM IST) to support seamless cross-regional execution.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level frontend architectures using React.js and TypeScript
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, debugging, and code generation
• Establish and govern advanced React patterns and best practices to ensure reusability and minimise technical debt
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and backend architects to translate business goals into scalable technical roadmaps
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on architecture, performance, and TypeScript principles
• Drive code quality through rigorous architectural and code reviews
• Optimise performance and scalability (e.g., Micro-Frontends) across devices and network conditions
• Champion adoption of emerging patterns (e.g., Server Components) and continuously improve engineering processes

You Might Be a Good Fit If…

• 10+ years in frontend development, building sophisticated SPAs
• 5+ years with React.js (hooks, context API, advanced state management)
• 5+ years with TypeScript at enterprise scale
• Strong command of HTML5, ES6+, and Vite
• Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, async programming, and Git workflows
• Experience with React Testing Library and Vitest
• Strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts
• Nice to have: Next.js / Remix, MUI, AngularJS migration experience, design systems, Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, open-source contributions
