The Role
General Motors is transforming the future of mobility while operating one of the world’s most complex manufacturing environments. The Manufacturing Cybersecurity team helps protect the technology, systems, and data that keep GM plants safe, resilient, and productive.
As a Senior Manufacturing Cybersecurity Resident Engineer, you’ll serve as the plant’s primary cybersecurity execution partner. You’ll implement and sustain the Manufacturing Cybersecurity Program, coordinate remediation activities, support incident response and disaster recovery, and partner with plant, IT, cybersecurity, supplier, and global teams to reduce risk without disrupting production.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring independent judgment, strong execution, and the ability to manage competing priorities with limited supervision. Your work will help maintain secure, resilient, and production-ready manufacturing operations.
