About Nivoda

Nivoda is a rapidly scaling global B2B diamond and gemstone marketplace connecting jewelry retailers with competitive, high-quality suppliers worldwide. Processing $300M+ in annual transactions and operating across multiple regions, Nivoda is transforming a $350B industry that has historically been slow to modernise.

Our platform gives businesses of all sizes, from independent jewellers to major retail chains access to the world's best diamond and gemstone inventory, without the traditional barriers of capital, geography, or information asymmetry.

Our Mission

Diamond and gemstone trading has long been plagued by inefficiency, opacity, and exclusivity. Nivoda was built to change that - to democratise access and empower every business, regardless of size or location, to buy and sell with confidence. Independent jewellers are at the heart of this mission. They deserve the same access to quality, pricing, and selection as the biggest players in the industry. That's exactly what we give them.

The Team

Our Sales team is the engine that brings Nivoda's mission to life. We're a high-energy, globally distributed group that moves fast, owns outcomes, and genuinely cares about the success of every jewelry business we work with. This is a team that thrives on commercial creativity, deep customer relationships, and relentless execution and we're growing fast.

The Utah Sales Team

Our US sales team is the engine of one of Nivoda's fastest-growing markets. SDRs open the door, Account Executives bring it home, and everyone works closely with marketing, operations and product in a remote-first, low-hierarchy culture where the best idea wins. It's high energy, high accountability and genuinely collaborative — we win as a team.

About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you'll lead the team at the very front line of our growth — the SDRs who turn cold outreach into warm, excited conversations for our Account Executive team. This is a player-coach role in a phone-first, high-volume sales culture: you'll build the playbook, coach on live calls, own the pipeline generation number and scale the team as we expand across North America. And because our SDR team is the launchpad for Nivoda's future AEs and sales leaders, you won't just be shaping results — you'll be shaping careers.

What would you be doing?

Lead, coach and develop a team of SDRs across North America — through daily call coaching, live listening, structured 1:1s and clear development plans.

Own the team's pipeline generation number: activity, conversations held, meetings booked and qualified opportunities converted into AE pipeline.

Recruit, onboard and ramp new SDRs as we scale the function — helping define what great looks like and holding the hiring bar high.

Build and continuously refine the outbound playbook: call frameworks, talk tracks, objection handling, and email and LinkedIn sequences tailored to independent jewellers, retailers and diamond buyers.

Be a player-coach: stay close to the phones, join calls, and show the team what a great prospecting conversation sounds like.

Set and manage weekly and monthly KPIs that balance volume with quality — high activity matters here, but great conversations and booked meetings matter more.

Own Salesforce hygiene, reporting and forecasting for the SDR function, giving leadership a clear, trustworthy view of pipeline health.

Partner with AE leadership to sharpen qualification criteria, improve hand-off quality and close the feedback loop on every meeting booked.

Collaborate with marketing on messaging, campaigns and lead flow — test new sequences, measure what works and iterate fast.

Run energising team standups, pipeline reviews and honest performance conversations.

Build the career path that turns great SDRs into Nivoda's next AEs and leaders.

Be a key voice in how we build and scale the sales development function in North America.

What do we need from you?

Proven experience leading and coaching SDR/BDR or high-velocity SMB sales teams — ideally at a fast-growing SaaS or marketplace company.

A track record of hitting and exceeding pipeline or sales targets, both as an individual contributor and as a manager.

Deep outbound expertise — you've done the cold calling yourself, you're genuinely energised by the phone, and you know how to teach it. This is a phone-first team.

Strong command of the SMB sales motion: short cycles, high volume, value-led conversations.

A data-driven operator — fluent in Salesforce, comfortable building reports, spotting conversion drop-offs and turning numbers into coaching.

An excellent communicator and motivator — you give direct, kind feedback, celebrate wins loudly and keep energy high through the tough weeks.

A builder's mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, creating structure where there isn't any, and moving fast in an environment that evolves quickly.

Experience hiring, onboarding and ramping sales talent.

Nice to have

Experience in marketplaces, two-sided platforms, or B2B e-commerce, jewellery industry, luxury goods, or a marketplace with a jewellery or luxury vertical.

Experience scaling an SDR function from the ground up, or through a phase of rapid growth.

Extensive experience with sales engagement and conversation intelligence tools (e.g. Outreach, Salesforce, Apollo, Gong) or CRM for pipeline management.

A second language - we're a global team and this is a great advantage.
