Senior Software Engineer

Collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver infrastructure and data solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements

Evaluate system architecture, perform risk analysis, and implement mitigation strategies

Implement secure development practices and support compliance and security-related activities

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and implementation artifacts

Mentor/guide junior engineers on routine issues / Review junior engineer’s work/delivery

Continuously grow your technical skills in an environment of rapidly evolving technology

Owns project deliveries, procedures and designs within the role

Essential requirements

7+ years of strong software development experience in C# (.NET), React.js, WEB/REST API’s, SQL servers

Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions, preferably on Azure

Hands-on / Familiarity with Azure Functions, App Services, Service Fabric, Networking, Storage technologies and Auth0/Identity server concepts

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerized environments

Hands-on / Familiarity with security tools / SDL process

Familiarity with IaaS/SaaS/PaaS architecture and microservice architecture

Familiarity in migrating projects from legacy to latest technologies

Solid understanding of cloud architecture, Infrastructure as a Service, microservices, networking, and authentication/authorization concepts

Strong understanding of secure software development practices, including threat modeling

Good communication skills, working with a broad range of people, including Architects and Testers.

Hybrid working

We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection.
