We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to work on an exciting project focused on developing advanced Container Security Solutions.

We invite you to become part of our highly motivated engineering team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge Container Security Solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a new product offering from Qualys.

This position is based at our rapidly growing R&D center in Pune, India, which is an integral part of our global, multi-continent engineering organization.

Responsibilities:

As part of a dynamic team of engineers and architects, you will:

Design, prototype, develop, and support highly scalable SaaS-based security solutions.
Collaborate on architecture and feature design for complex software systems.
Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and performance optimization.

Required Technical Skills:

3+ years of hands-on software engineer, developing complex system in modern C++ and GoLang programming languages.
Proficient on Linux internals and security.
Hands-on experience with Linux Low Level and Kernel.
Strong proficiency in C++ and GoLang on Linux platforms.
In-depth knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes, and various container runtimes.
Previous experience with eBPF and ptrace is required.
Previous experience with security-oriented development - advantage.
Experience in design, prototyping, development, testing, and performance profiling.
Hands-on experience with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and similar development tools.

Soft Skills & Attributes:

Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering assigned products, components, and features.
Demonstrated commitment to quality and experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Proven ability to work on complex projects with multiple features and short release cycles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Collaborative team player with a positive, humble attitude.
Passion for raising the quality bar across products, teams, and the engineering organization.
