Senior Software QA (Manual Testing)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer with 6-10 years of manual testing experience to ensure high-quality product releases through requirement analysis, test execution, database validation, and production issue investigation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging AI to improve quality engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end testing for assigned features and releases.
Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify gaps, risks, and test scenarios.
Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance requirement analysis, test design, test data preparation, and coverage.
Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
Validate backend data and business logic using PostgreSQL/MySQL queries.
Investigate and resolve client-reported issues in collaboration with support and development teams.
Track defects through resolution, retesting, and regression testing.
Leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline test documentation, reporting, and QA knowledge management.
Promote an AI-First Quality Engineering approach by improving QA processes through intelligent testing practices and automation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
6-10 years of Software QA experience with strong manual testing expertise.
Strong SQL and database testing skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Experience in requirement analysis, defect management, and production support.
Experience using AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis, test documentation, test case generation, test automation, or quality engineering activities.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing best practices.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the US Healthcare domain.
API testing experience using Postman or Swagger.
Experience leveraging AI for requirements analysis, test case generation, documentation creation, test automation acceleration, defect analysis, and quality reporting.
Demonstrated AI-First mindset with a track record of improving quality, efficiency, and innovation through AI-assisted testing practices.
Experience mentoring QA team members.
Experience testing data-intensive or analytics-driven applications.
