Senior Vice President, Senior Broker

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; academic background in quantitative, business, risk management or insurance related field is preferred.
• 10-15 years’ experience in reinsurance broking or underwriting with a focus on treaty reinsurance.
• Proven ability to structure and place complex treaty programmes effectively.
• Strong market knowledge and established relationships across Asia Pacific reinsurance markets. On-the-ground experience in Hong Kong preferred.
• In-depth working knowledge of reinsurance pricing, wordings and portfolio structures.
• Customer-focused with strong sales drive. Self-motivated and excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially astute and strong business sense.
• Experience in team leadership, including growing, managing and mentoring a team.
• Proven ability to manage and network in a multicultural environment. Strong gravitas and presence to influence and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese/ Mandarin).
• Proficient MS office skills. Able to leverage a range of digital tools and technology to its maximum potential.
