Client & Vendor Interface

  • Act as primary client and vendor-facing technical lead for project delivery.
  • Lead technical review meetings, progress discussions, compliance audits, and design clarifications.
  • Manage client escalations, change requests, and technical queries efficiently.
  • Represent the organization in FAT/SAT, compliance audits, and project acceptance reviews.

Engineering Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with the Engineering Manager and internal teams to ensure:
  • Engineering execution aligns with project schedules, compliance, and quality standards
  • Clear technical expectations are communicated and delivered by engineering teams
  • Track engineering progress against milestones and ensure timely availability of all deliverables.

Project Planning, Reporting & Governance

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestone trackers.
  • Monitor project health across scope, schedule, quality, and risk dimensions.
  • Prepare and present structured project status reports to clients and senior internal management.
  • Maintain complete technical documentation, including:
  • Compliance matrices
  • Risk and issue registers
  • Meeting minutes and action trackers
  • Final handover documentation

Ensure adherence to internal delivery frameworks, quality systems, and audit requirements.

Essential requirements

  • Strong domain knowledge in utility/grid operations, distribution automation, RDSS, ADMS, SCADA, and smart grid technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with ETAP, power system studies, protection coordination, and distribution network modeling.
  • Ability to interpret and validate:
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • Protection schemes and relay coordination
  • Telemetry and SCADA/ADMS configurations
  • Compliance with grid codes and utility standards
  • Familiarity with power system automation, smart grid communication networks, and data analytics integration.

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet) and reporting tools

Desired skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Power / Automation / Instrumentation Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in utility or grid operations projects, with focus on RDSS/ADMS or SCADA/Automation projects.
