You will monitor and review potential threats from various cybersecurity systems and conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) with new cyber security software to evaluate its effectiveness and potential integration into the organization's systems.

Not only will you be responsible for ensuring the security of Kyndryl's customers’ network and systems, but you will also enrich the organization’s knowledge towards potential cyber threats and best practices. You will provide automation scripts for threat hunting in customer environments using lessons learned from Cyber-attacks.

You will also have the opportunity to conduct penetration testing and threat and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems, and networks, responding to cybersecurity breaches and identifying intrusions. You will research and evaluate cybersecurity threats and perform root cause analysis, all while assisting in the creation and implementation of security solutions.

Responsbilities:

• Works to ensure the company's computer network is safe from cyber-attacks.

• Develops and executes security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems.

• Maintains hardware, software, and network firewalls and encryption protocols. Administers cybersecurity policies to control physical and virtual access to systems.

• Performs network security audits and testing, and evaluates system security configurations to ensure efficacy and compliance with policies and procedures.

• Conducts penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems and/or networks. Responds to cybersecurity breaches, identifies intrusions and isolates, blocks and removes unauthorized access.

• Researches and evaluates cybersecurity threats and performs root cause analysis. Assists in the creation and implementation of security solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Sentinel SOAR, Azure Logic Apps, and security playbook development.
• Design and implement automated workflows for incident triage, alert enrichment, investigation, and response.
• Develop and maintain integrations with CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, DLP, Threat Intelligence, and ServiceNow using REST APIs.
• Proficiency in KQL, Python/PowerShell, JSON, REST APIs, and Azure services.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering.
• Develop GenAI-powered SOC use cases for alert summarization, incident investigation, threat analysis, and response recommendations.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI agents, RAG, and LLM integration with security workflows is preferred.
• Implement AI-driven automation with appropriate validation, human approval, security guardrails, and audit trails.
• Identify SOC automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, false positives, and incident response time.
• Collaborate with SOC teams to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready SOAR and GenAI solutions.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Valid and current certification or equivalent experience in one of the following: CISSP / CompTIA Security+ / Certified Cloud Security Professional / GIAC Security Essentials
• Security Operations Center experience
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
