Our Team

TheRisk & Fraudteam at Q2 isresponsible forhelping our customerstake a proactive stance against fraud and managing the risks of their business. We build and enhance products thatevolve with theever-changingfraudlandscape,deliveringtangiblevaluefor our customers. Our solutions enable them tofocus more of their time and energy on their mission:bestserving their customers and communities.

The Role

In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, implement, test, and operate cloud-native, data-driven servicesand applicationsacross Q2’sFraud Intelligence Platform.This is a production-focused role where you will gradually take on more responsibility as you gain experience working with real-world systems and data.

We are looking for engineers who are eager to learn, enjoy working across the stack, and care about building reliable software in environments where quality and correctness matter.

Yourkeyresponsibilities:

Implement and unit test back-end components and front-end web pages.

Create, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity

Support, maintain, and resolve issues in production systems.

Ensure adherence to all security, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; up to 2+ years of related experience.

Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript.

Web development experience and familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular, React).

Understanding of full software development life cycle.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Experience building applications using anAWS-native, service-oriented architecture(for example usingRDS, Lambdas, IAM Roles, S3, EKS)

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
