As a Software Engineering Intern you will work side-by-side with Senior Engineers building resilient systems, solving real challenges, writing code, and mastering AI-driven development practices.

You will

Contribute ideas in technical discussions and see them come to life
Design, test, and deploy features used by businesses around the world
Learn new skills every day in a fast-paced, supportive environment
Harness advanced AI developer tools
Pair directly with Engineer to design, test, and ship high-impact features powering WEX’s global financial technology platform.
Engage in technical workshops, present demos, and collaborate across global technology teams

Who We’re Looking For

Currently enrolled in your penultimate (second-to-last) year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Solid foundation in modern object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Go).
Passion for leveraging generative AI, LLM tooling, and modern developer utilities to accelerate workflow and problem-solving
Strong logical reasoning, curiosity, and a drive to understand system design from first principles
Proactive communication skills, eager to seek and integrate direct technical feedback
