Our people make all the difference in our success. We are looking for engineer to develop, optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy. In this role you will support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery. This role requires working with both onsite and offshore team members in properly defining testable scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria.

Position Overview

Develop and support software that collects, transforms, and sends medical determination data to clients’ medical claims systems. Most work centers on MS SQL Server—, T-SQL, data quality, and troubleshooting—in support of integrations and operational reliability. Hands-on .NET is required to support services and UIs and grow into fuller application delivery over time, including alignment or partnership with teams that own broader apps and APIs.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and architects on design, own well-scoped features, and contribute to quality, maintainability, and team practices while learning the domain.

Responsibilities

Technical

  • 5 years professional software development experience (or equivalent depth); solid record shipping work in Agile/iterative delivery.
  • Strong hands-on MS SQL Server (4+ years practical use): T-SQL for features, integrations, and operational support; reading execution plans, indexing fundamentals, and improving slow or complex queries (with support on advanced tuning).
  • Schema design awareness: tables, keys, constraints, and tradeoffs with reporting or downstream consumers; ability to align database design with Entity Framework models and migrations where the stack uses them.
  • Experience debugging data issues: tracing inconsistencies, reconciliation, and connecting application errors to the database; familiarity with team patterns for stored procedures, views, and/or functions as applicable.
  • 4+ years hands-on .NET (.NET Framework and/or .NET as defined by the team); C# (VB.NET if the codebase requires it; otherwise, nice-to-have).
  • ASP.NET Web API / REST and ASP.NET MVC with Razor and/or comparable server-side UI patterns in use.
  • Entity Framework: modeling, migrations, LINQ; room to deepen performance work over time.
  • Web applications plus APIs; exposure to microservices or distributed systems (hands-on or supported).

Cloud, platform & operations

  • Azure fundamentals: deploy/debug apps, configuration, basic monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Application Insights (or similar APM/logging), including correlating issues with database behavior when helpful.
  • Exposure to CI/CD (e.g. Azure DevOps) and Jira (or similar) for delivery tracking.
  • Preferred: Kafka/pub-sub, CAI- with Terraform, Service Fabric.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in C#, SOLID Design Principles/Patterns, OOP, Data Structures, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, ReactJS, xUnit, TDD, Kafka, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Azure (including Terraforms and AKS), Cosmos DB

Bachelor’s degree equivalent in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Technology Management, or related field of study.
