The Opportunity asa Software/Sr.Software Engineer (Windows) on the DEEM atOmnissa:
- Ability to work and design scalable solutions involving Windows internals and system-level components
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and global geographies
Drive end-to-end feature development, from design to implementation and delivery
Lead and influence technical direction within the team
Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring best practices and skill development
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver innovative solutions
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, 5-whys, and RCCAs
Identifyprocess or pipeline improvements to increase team efficiency
Participate in the on-call rotation
Champion engineering initiatives and foster a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and excellence.
Handle customer-impacting escalations,prioritisingengineering work effectively.
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience in Windows internals
Strongproficiencyin C++ development (5+ Years)
Experience in Unit Test frameworks such asgTestandgMock.
Experience in Windows Server
Experience in Linux & MacOS operating systems is a plus
Solid understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and inter-process communication
Experience with network programming: TLS/OpenSSL, HTTP client/server libraries.
Expertisein debugging usingWinDbgand Windows performance profiling tools
Location:Chennai/Bangalore
Location Type:HYBRID.Thisrole offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that youresidewithin a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.
Travel Expectations:10% of travel, Domestic/International only if business demands.
What isthe leadershiplike for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
This role reports to Engineering Manager, DEEM. The team is based out of Chennai& Bangalore. We are a close-knit group of senior engineers with deep experience delivering our DEX Agent to the world’s largest companies. We work closely with our counterparts in the US to drive key platform improvements focused on security, service availability, resilience, and cost reduction. The success of our customers is our highest priority.
