Job Description
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience designing, developing, and securing REST APIs
- Proficiency in at least one SQL database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
- Hands-on experience with at least one Python API framework: FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Strong experience building and supporting Microservices Architecture
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), design patterns, coding standards, and software engineering best practices
- Experience creating High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for scalable applications
- Strong understanding of System Design principles, including scalability, reliability, performance, and resiliency
- Experience with caching technologies such as Redis
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills, and experience conducting Code Reviews
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management
Good to Have
- Experience with ETL frameworks and large-scale data processing pipelines
- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Exposure to AWS cloud platform
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
- Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, and observability tools
- Exposure to distributed systems and asynchronous processing patterns
