Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Thermal and mechanical design of server liquid-cooling modules.

Produce engineering drawings, reports, material lists and work instructions.

Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation of mechanical parts for high-voltage products.

Interface with customers and suppliers to understand system requirement and produce solutions accordingly.

Provide statements of work, cost estimates, completion schedules and other project administrative inputs.

Collaborating with multi-region peers including mechanical, application, and product engineering teams for coordination of design specification and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

M.S. or PH.D in mechanical engineering.

6 years overall work experience in the roles of mechanical engineer.

Knowledge of application systems, such as server, datacenter, testing equipment, and automobile. Experience with mechanical design in products applied into the above application systems.

Project management experience with cross-function team cooperation.

Knowledge and experience with back-end manufacturing, such as product assembly, QA procedures, ISO regulations, safety certifications.

Strong analysis skills and demonstrate proficiency with 2D/3D CAD systems and simulation software.

Proficiency with sheet metal design for power electronics devices.

Familiar with SolidWorks.

Strong knowledge of mechanical/structural design processes, materials, and fabrication methods.
