Swage Operator

The first shift Resistance Welder II fabricates components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies using various hand and power tools (i.e. swage machine, shears, micro capacity resistance welding, die size, air ram test, scope, etc.).

The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and overtime, including weekends, is routine. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Air value stream and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Fabricate simple parts to blueprint and work instruction specifications and perform related tasks as requested.

Use various hand and power tools (i.e. swage machine, shears, micro capacity resistance welding, die size, air ram test, scope, etc.).

Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data.

The essential requirements of the job include:

High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).

Prior work experience reading and understanding blueprints; using measuring equipment such as calipers and drop gauges; and basic math skills.

Work overtime as assigned, including weekends.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Pass visual acuity test.

Ability to bend, lift, stand, sit, and twist frequently for long periods of time and required lifting weight: 35 pounds.

Lifting frequency: Daily.
