Job Description:

We're searching for talent with a strong background in system infrastructure solutions. The candidate will be a proven expert at least in:

Solution Design andArchitecture: Develop robust and scalable data center system solutions.
Bill of Materials (BOM) Configuration: Prepare accurate and comprehensive BOM.
Proof of Concept (POC) Execution: Planning, building and delivering technical and technology demonstrations.
Tender / RFP / RFI Responses: Lead and contribute to the technical validation & accuracy, developing a tailored solution and strategy.
Technical Enablement: Equipping customers with necessary technical knowledge, tools and resources.

Responsibilities:

This Pre-Sales role includes day-to-day duties in the following areas:

Lead solution design and architecture on system infrastructure technologies, products and solutions.
Identify and analyze customer requirements in system infrastructure, but not limited to virtualization platform, hardware such as server & storage, and data backup solution.
Design and tailor a solution and proposal for bids or projects and develop technical and solution proposals, topology diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops to diverse audiences.
Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, building strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Articulate clearly the technical concepts in an understandable and impactful manner, not limited to verbal or writing, both technical and non-technical audiences.
Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations to demonstrate solution capabilities and validate proposed architectures in client environments.
Lead technical training and enablement to internal sales teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to discuss and position system infrastructure solutions effectively.
Work closely with product teams to analyze market dynamics to identify new opportunities and position solutions strategically.
Perform project assessment, consultative services when meeting with prospects.
Work closely with vendors and system integrators when prospecting for business opportunities, including product solution presentation & technical enablement. Foster strong cross-functional relationships with GTM teams to ensure customer success and provide valuable feedback loops.
Work seamlessly with sales account managers and product team to develop account strategies, qualify opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
Prepare technical proposals, including architectural diagrams, solution blueprints, and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Collaborate with professional services and delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from presales engagement to solution implementation.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or an equivalent field.
Minimum of 5 years of deep knowledge is preferable, including hands-on experience in designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting data center system infrastructure solutions.
Strong experience in enterprise server hardware (such as Dell, HPE or Lenovo), server operating systems (Microsoft Windows or Linux), and CPU architectures (Processor, Memory, RAID & Hard Disk, network interface card, etc).
Possess a strong understanding of storage technologies, such as SAN (Storage Area Networks), NAS (Network Attached Storage), experience in object storage, block storage, and related protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB, S3) will be added advantage.
Strong experience in hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Microsoft Azure HCI, Nutanix, KVM or equivalent).
Strong experience with backup and cyber resiliency solutions, and disaster recovery strategies.
Understanding containerization like Docker or Kubernetes), including their benefits and use cases in modern infrastructure, will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture and solutions such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform or equivalent will be added advantage.
Related professional certification for system infrastructure will be an added advantage.
