Technical Writer

Minimum qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical writing role documenting complex technical products, cloud platforms, and/or developer tools.
• STEM degree or equivalent professional experience (e.g., software development, QA, analytics, SOC, Incident Response, or IT).
• Mother-tongue level English with exceptional written communication skills and a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise docs.
• The ability to learn independently by exploring documentation, testing products, and diving into technical resources.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and/or B2B SaaS.
• Docs-as-Code Proficiency: Hands-on experience working directly with tools such as Git, GitHub or GitLab, VS Code, and markdown.
• Familiarity leveraging GenAI tools & AI coding assistants such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop In-Product Feature Communications: Partner closely with Product Managers to write and publish roadmap updates, feature previews, release updates, and announcements directly in the portal.
• Use Docs-as-Code Workflows: Manage documentation source files using GitHub and Markdown, leveraging pull requests and automated pipelines to draft, review, and ship technical content.
• Leverage AI to Research & Draft: Use Generative AI tools as a force multiplier to research complex topics, extract context from engineering specs, and draft comprehensive documentation faster without sacrificing accuracy.
• Craft In-Product Guidance & Microcopy: Write concise portal page descriptions, UI tooltips, and guided tours to help users navigate features directly within the application.
• Optimize Content for AI Retrieval & Search: Structure documentation architecture, metadata, and markdown files so technical content can be effectively ingested and accurately referenced by both internal and customer-facing AI assistants and AI-powered features.
• Validate & Maintain Troubleshooting Content: Coordinate directly with Developers, Security Experts, and Support Engineers to maintain accurate troubleshooting guides and technical resources.
