We are looking for a Journeyman or Red seal HET/ Electrician/Millwright/ HVAC - Technician for our Service Center in Abbotsford, BC where you’ll play a key role in helping our customers power progress.

What you’ll do :

Work in the field daily, traveling locally in a company-provided vehicle.

Perform major mechanical interventions / overhauls and electrical system servicing to defined service intervals and in line with standard operating procedures and work instructions
Carry out intermediate mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics on both power and TC equipment
Ensure the completion of minor repairs and major overhauls on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
Assist, support and train service crew.
Intermediate Installation & Commissioning, for example commissioning of multiple canopy generators, single containerized generator, nominal temp chiller / multiple AC’s, heaters, compressors etc to LV/HV distribution.

You are:

High School diploma/GED
Journeyman or Red seal – Heavy equipment Technician/ Millwright / HVAC / Electrician
4-7 years of experience.
Experience working on Cummins, Volvo, or Jenbacher diesel or natural gas-powered generators and compressors, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs is an asset
Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
Valid driver’s license and Passport
Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
