Business Function
Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks across the organization
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to business units and support functions on operational risk management best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk reporting, escalation, and governance processes are in place
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses, and develop mitigation strategies to address identified operational risks
- Oversee the implementation of operational risk management tools and systems to enhance risk visibility and data-driven decision-making
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization's operational resilience capabilities
- Participate in the design and delivery of operational risk management training programs to build risk awareness and capabilities across the organization

Requirements
- Degree holder (or equivalent) in Risk, Legal, IT, Accounting, Finance or business-related discipline
- Minimum 10 and 6 years of working experience in operational risk management or internal control related function for VP and AVP respectively, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective operational risk management frameworks and solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex operational risks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in the use of risk management tools and data analytics to support decision-making
- Good understanding of AI/ML techniques and hands-on experience with generative AI tools
- Experience in QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau or other data analysis tools would be advantageous
- Demonstrated expertise in managing operational risk in a financial services or banking environment
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ECF-ORM, PRMIA, or GARP) are preferred
