Records and processes journal entries to ensure all financial transactions are accurately and timely recorded.
Maintains accounts receivable, including invoice issuance, payment recording, and cash application.
Maintains accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing and balance reconciliations.
Performs bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
Assists in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in accordance with the company's accounting policies and guidelines.
Assists with the review and recording of expenses, payroll records, and other financial transactions as required.
Supports the General Accountant in preparing and executing monthly and annual financial closings.
Prepares and submits financial and accounting reports.
Ensures compliance with closing schedules and reporting deadlines.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial information.
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, recommending enhancements to accounting systems, processes, and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Performs other accounting-related duties and ad hoc tasks as required.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field as well as 1-2 years of relevant post-graduate work experience preferred.
Intermediate English preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile accounts, analyse financial data, and resolve discrepancies with accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, communicate financial information, and build positive relationships.
Adaptability and willingness to learn, with a proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement
