Job Description Summary:

Lead the small, senior engineering team that turns business questions from Coca-Cola's operating units and bottlers into secure, governed AI agents — grounded in enterprise data on Azure and Databricks and delivered where decisions are made, increasingly inside Microsoft Teams. The people who use your team's work decide on pricing, packs and promotions in markets on four continents.

This is a hands-on, player-coach role: you own the architecture, still read and review code, set the engineering bar and are accountable for what runs in production. To non-technical executives, you are the technical voice — you turn broad requests into commitments the team can keep, and you are neither an automatic yes nor an automatic no.

What You'll Do

  • Own the architecture and delivery of production AI solutions — RAG, tool-calling agents, LLM applications and the machine learning behind them — on Azure OpenAI, Databricks and Python, built to be secure, scalable and resilient from the first release.
  • Lead and grow a team of AI engineers: hire, coach, review code, set engineering standards and develop careers, while staying close enough to the technology to make the hard calls yourself.
  • Run what you ship: evaluation of LLM output, observability, governance, security, privacy and access control for AI, so that solutions earn the trust of the executives who rely on them.
  • Turn the AI vision into a roadmap the team can deliver: reusable patterns, engineering practices and realistic commitments, built on the enterprise platforms and standards rather than replacing them.
  • Be the technical voice to senior business stakeholders across APAC, Africa, LATAM and EMEA: translate broad requests into achievable commitments, manage trade-offs and governance, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Bring

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years in software, AI, ML or platform engineering, including 5+ years leading engineering teams or functions.
  • Progression from engineer or architect into leadership: you have personally shipped production code and can still read and review it.
  • Production generative AI and agentic solutions delivered at enterprise scale — RAG, vector search, agents with tool calling — not pilots or research.
  • Communicating technical vision to non-technical executives, and delivering in large, politically complex, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep, hands-on Azure — for example Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions or AKS, and Azure data services.
  • Databricks, data warehousing or lakehouse platforms and terabyte-scale data: AI solutions stand or fall on their data foundations.
  • Solutions delivered across multiple global regions (APAC, Africa, LATAM, EMEA).
  • GraphRAG, knowledge graphs and semantic search; LangChain or LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen; AI observability and governance tooling.
  • Consumer goods, commercial or revenue growth management domain experience.

Why This Role

  • A team being built now, with three senior roles opening together: you set the standards rather than inherit them.
  • Scale that is hard to find: terabyte-scale enterprise data, markets on four continents, and users who act on your team's answers every day.
  • A modern stack and the mandate to use it: Azure OpenAI, Databricks, agent frameworks, and Microsoft Teams as the front door.
  • Hands-on by design: the role is scoped so that you stay close to the code.
