What you’ll do…

Build strong relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, agencies and social organisers, creating a healthy pipeline of events business.
Handle enquiries from first contact through to confirmation, producing clear proposals, contracts and event details without making the process feel complicated.
Understand what each client is trying to create, suggest the right spaces, food and drink, and spot natural opportunities to add value.
Keep event information accurate and up to date, making sure BEOs and handovers give the operational teams everything they need to deliver brilliantly.
Stay close to clients before, during and after their event, checking in, solving issues quickly and building relationships that bring them back.
Work hand in hand with Events, F&B, Kitchen and Sales teams to coordinate timings, set-ups, menus and guest requirements.
Know the local market, keep an eye on what is happening in the city and bring fresh ideas for attracting new social and corporate business.
Track enquiries, conversions and revenue, using the numbers to understand what is working and where there is more opportunity.
Help the wider team build confidence in upselling and suggestive selling, while always keeping the guest experience at the centre.
Support event days when needed - we all roll up our sleeves here.

You’re commercially minded and comfortable working towards revenue and conversion targets without turning into a pushy salesperson.
You’re organised, calm and able to keep several events moving at once.
You communicate clearly in English, both in writing and in person; additional languages are a bonus.
Experience with event systems, CRM tools, restaurant reservations or hotel systems would be useful, but attitude and curiosity matter just as much.
