📍ZURU is on a mission to disrupt industries, challenge the status quo, and catalyze change through radical innovation and advances in automation. This is in play in different pillars of the company: ZURU Toys are re-imagining what it means to play; ZURU Tech is shaping a better future by leading the next building revolution; and ZURU Edge is pioneering new-generation FMCG brands to better serve modern consumers.

📍 Founded in 2003 by EY Entrepreneur of the Year and World Entrepreneur Hall of Fame brothers Nick and Mat Mowbray, ZURU has quickly grown to a team of over 5,000 direct and indirect members across more than 30 international locations.

ABOUT ZURU EDGE 🚀

ZURU Edge is the FMCG arm of ZURU Group - a founder-led, vertically integrated business that designs, manufactures and sells its own consumer brands. We do not acquire heritage brands and manage their decline; we build new ones and put them into retail at a speed most consumer goods companies cannot match. Rascals, Millie Moon, Monday Haircare, Daise, Gumi Yum Surprise and Bonkers all compete in categories where execution and pace decide the winner.

📊 YOUR ROLE:

As our Key Account Manager Nordics, you will lead the account management for major retailers and distributors in the Nordic markets. You are responsible for establishing and nurturing strong business relationships, drive sales and profit growth across your assigned accounts, and identify new business opportunities.

Once priorities have been aligned, you are the owner of your assigned business and responsible to deliver on aligned targets in the Nordics region.

You will work in close and cross-functional collaboration with our global teams.

In this role, you will directly report to the Head of Sales Benelux and Nordics.

📌 CORE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Account Management:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major retailers and distributors.

- Drive sales growth and profit targets through effective account management.

- Identify and capitalize on business development opportunities within existing key accounts.

- Lead range reviews and listing negotiations: build the category argument, own the commercial case, and close it.

- Design and manage the promotional calendar across the region, with post-evaluation feeding the following year's plan.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize Zuru Edge's market share.

Multilingual Communication:

- Utilize fluent language skills, particularly in English (additional languages are a plus), to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Conduct negotiations, presentations, and business discussions in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.

Forecasting and Reporting:

- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to aid in strategic decision-making.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and product development to ensure seamless execution of strategies and initiatives.

- Provide feedback from key accounts to inform product development and improve overall customer satisfaction.

- Represent the Nordics internally: senior leadership should hear the region's story from you, with the numbers behind it.

💡 SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

- 3-5 years experience and proven track record of success in key account management within the FMCG industry.

- Strong understanding of the Nordic retail markets and consumer trends.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

- Structured, independent way of working and the ability to effectively prioritize across several business needs.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

- Ability to travel within Europe as needed.

⭐ WHAT WE OFFER:

- Competitive salary.

- A region, not an account. Several markets, full commercial ownership, and the mandate to redesign how we go to market rather than to defend a plan someone else wrote.

- Visible impact. The Nordic result is small enough that what you do shows up clearly, and important enough that senior leadership watches it.

- Short lines to decisions. Proposals are answered in hours, not weeks.

- Brands with momentum. A portfolio in fast-moving categories, backed by a business that owns its own manufacturing and can move at unusual speed on product and price.
