As a Gen AI Engineer Associate you will contribute to the design and development of data solutions and generative AI capabilities that help clients turn raw data into usable insights, within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. As an Associate you will learn through hands-on project tasks, support senior team members, adapt to changing client needs, ask questions, and build your technical skills while delivering reliable work in a fast-paced environment. In this role at PwC, you will apply a learning mindset, gather information from different sources, analyze patterns, support exploratory analysis and visualization efforts, and develop your understanding of how data science and AI work can inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

- Supporting data science and generative AI projects by contributing to model development, testing, and iteration across client deliverables
- Applying machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical analysis techniques to explore data, identify patterns, and inform recommendations
- Developing and refining data pipelines, data modeling approaches, and data quality checks to support dependable analytics workflows
- Writing and maintaining code in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, or MATLAB for data preparation, experimentation, and prototype solutions
- Using AI tools and digital platforms to build, evaluate, and improve automation and cognitive solutions for varied client environments
- Conducting exploratory analysis on structured and unstructured data sources to support predictive modeling and data-driven decision making
- Documenting technical work, findings, and model outputs clearly for review by senior team members and client stakeholders
- Adapting to changing project needs, asking questions, and learning new methods, tools, and workflows while contributing reliable delivery

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering
- Applying coursework in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science
- Demonstrating familiarity with Python, SQL, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn
- Gathering data, identifying patterns, and translating findings into insights
- Adapting quickly across client needs, team settings, and shifting priorities
- Communicating ideas clearly, asking thoughtful questions, and learning actively
