Product & Functional Safety Specialist, Staff (m/w/d)
Unbefristete Vollzeitstelle | Standort Darmstadt
In dieser Staff-Rolle übernehmen Sie übergreifende fachliche Verantwortung für Product & Functional Safety. Sie steuern komplexe und strategisch relevante Themen, entwickeln Standards und Prozesse weiter und beraten interne sowie externe Stakeholder bei anspruchsvollen sicherheits- und konformitätsbezogenen Entscheidungen.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Eigenverantwortliche Entwicklung und strategische Weiterentwicklung gesetzlicher, unternehmens- und produktübergreifender Anforderungskonzepte im Bereich Produktsicherheit, funktionale Sicherheit und angrenzende Cyber-Security-Themen
- Übergreifende Planung, Priorisierung, Koordination und Steuerung sicherheits- und konformitätsrelevanter Aktivitäten in komplexen Entwicklungsprogrammen
- Fachliche Leitung und Bewertung anspruchsvoller Konformitätsprüfungen sowie Planung und Begleitung kritischer Audits und Assessments
- Gestaltung, Bewertung und unabhängiges Review produktintegritätsrelevanter Anforderungen, Architekturen, Arbeitsprodukte und technischer Konzepte
- Fachliche Leitung komplexer Gefahren-, Risiko- und Security-Analysen für Produktdesign, Entwicklungs- und Produktionsprozesse sowie Ableitung tragfähiger Entscheidungsoptionen
- Verantwortliche Vertretung technischer Lösungen und Risikobewertungen gegenüber Management, internen Fachbereichen, Kunden, externen Partnern und gegebenenfalls Behörden
- Federführende Analyse schwerwiegender Sicherheitsvorfälle, Moderation bereichsübergreifender Root-Cause-Analysen und Steuerung nachhaltiger Korrektur- und Präventionsmaßnahmen
- Entwicklung, Harmonisierung und kontinuierliche Optimierung von Produktsicherheitsrichtlinien, Methoden, Tools, Governance, Schulungsunterlagen und technischen Dokumentationen
- Fachliche Führung und Beratung von Projektteams und Experten sowie Planung und Durchführung von Reviews, Schulungen und bereichsübergreifenden Abstimmungen
- Übergreifende Identifikation von Lessons Learned, Ableitung strategischer Handlungsempfehlungen und Verantwortung für die nachhaltige Verbesserung sicherheitsrelevanter Prozesse und Safety Culture

Das bringen Sie mit
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes technisches Studium auf Master-Niveau oder vergleichbare Qualifikation, z. B. in Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik, Fahrzeugtechnik, Systems Engineering, Safety Engineering oder einer verwandten Fachrichtung
- Langjährige einschlägige Berufserfahrung in Produktsicherheit, funktionaler Sicherheit, Konformitätsmanagement, Produktintegrität oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Umfeld
- Tiefgehendes Verständnis sicherheitsrelevanter Entwicklungsprozesse, technischer Standards, Risikoanalysen sowie Audit- und Assessmentmethoden
- Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der fachlichen Leitung komplexer, interdisziplinärer und idealerweise internationaler Entwicklungsprogramme oder Safety-Initiativen
- Souveränes Auftreten und Verhandlungssicherheit in der Beratung von Management sowie in der Abstimmung mit Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Legal, Compliance, Kunden, externen Partnern oder Behörden
- Strategische, analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise sowie die Fähigkeit, neuartige oder mehrdeutige Anforderungen in belastbare technische Konzepte, Entscheidungsoptionen und Maßnahmen zu überführen
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Führungskompetenz sowie Erfahrung in fachlicher Führung, Coaching und der nachhaltigen Weiterentwicklung einer Safety Culture
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
