Based in Auckland, Tauranga or Rotorua, this key leadership position is responsible for leading SGS's Regulatory business across the Upper North Island. You will oversee a team of Engineer Surveyors while driving commercial performance, customer relationships, operational excellence and business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team of Engineer Surveyors
- Driving a culture of safety, quality, accountability and exceptional customer service
- Managing regional operational performance, including resource planning, service delivery and utilisation
- Owning financial performance including revenue, margin, WIP, forecasting and profitability
- Developing and executing regional business growth strategies
- Building and maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality and safety requirements
- Collaborating with other leaders to drive continuous improvement and business success

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience within the engineering, inspection, regulatory, compliance or industrial services sector
- Proven leadership experience managing technical or operational teams
- Strong commercial and financial management capability, including P&L responsibility
- Knowledge of industrial plant, pressure equipment, maintenance or asset integrity environments
- Understanding of statutory, regulatory and safety requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science or Business
- CBIP qualifications or exposure to the inspection industry would be advantageous
- Excellent communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- A current unrestricted New Zealand Driver Licence
