We're looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Senior Product Manager to join the Books Vertical and lead end-to-end book experiences on Spotify: from discovery and conversion through to listening, and from the creator pipeline through to the consumer shelf. This role is about connecting the dots across our core experiences, conversion flows, content pipeline, and creator tooling to make books work seamlessly on Spotify.
Books are a major focus for Spotify, and we need someone who can look holistically across the book ecosystem to identify gaps, reduce friction, and make sure our experiences are coherent end-to-end. You'll focus on making the full books journey work better for listeners, creators, and rights-holders, not just shipping new features. You'll partner closely with Personalization, Subscriptions, Experience, and creator-facing teams to strengthen and evolve book experiences across surfaces, and help shape a product strategy that directly improves how listeners discover and enjoy books.

What You'll Do
Shape and execute product strategy across core book experiences, conversion flows, content pipeline, and creator tooling.
Partner with teams across Spotify to identify and close gaps across book surfaces, creating a coherent end-to-end experience from content pipeline through to the consumer experience.
Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Product Insights, and Program Management to lead improvements across discovery, conversion, listening, and creator-facing surfaces.
Conduct, commission, and use research to understand listener behavior, creator needs, book consumption patterns, and market trends.
Use qualitative and quantitative insights to identify the most impactful opportunities across the book ecosystem and prioritize accordingly.
Define and track success metrics across the book experience, connecting upstream pipeline health with downstream listener outcomes.
Identify systemic friction points and opportunities across the book ecosystem, and advocate for improvements that strengthen the end-to-end experience.
Who You Are
You have 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally working across complex product ecosystems with multiple surfaces, partners, and dependencies.
You have a track record of improving multi-surface product experiences, not just launching new features but making existing systems work better together.
You use analytics, A/B testing, and user research to guide product decisions.
You're comfortable working across both consumer-facing and platform or tooling surfaces, and can move between listener needs and creator needs.
You communicate clearly and build shared understanding across teams that don't always see each other's work, translating between consumer, pipeline, and creator perspectives.
You're comfortable with ambiguity and managing complexity across multiple teams and partners.
You think in systems and map how changes in one part of the ecosystem (content pipeline, creator tooling, conversion flows, consumer surfaces) affect the rest.
You look for the most impactful fix rather than optimizing surfaces in isolation.
Where You'll Be
- This role is based in New York.
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
