Position Overview

We're growing ZURU Creative and looking for a Social & Content Creator for our Baby brands: part editor, part crafter, part storyteller, and someone who lives in the timeline and never settles for "good enough". You'll be our production powerhouse, bringing ideas and stories to life through crafted content, out in the world or in the studio, with a camera or with AI, polished or raw and real. You understand the creative brief and have the skills to deliver it, frame by frame, cut by cut, post by post.

ZURU started in 2003 with two brothers from New Zealand, and we're still founder-owned and operated today. Since then we've become the world's second-biggest privately held toy company, and nearly half of all Gen Y and Gen Z households with kids in the US own a ZURU product. Today we're 5,000 people in 34 offices, selling into more than 150 markets, backed by over 100 acres of fully automated manufacturing. And we're only getting started.

Position Impact

ZURU Creative's mission is to be the best in the world. We don't make ads. We make culture, filling feeds with ideas that stop thumbs, spark FOMO and build brand worlds people want to live in. Content you shoot in Auckland reaches millions of fans around the world, across multiple brands, formats and markets, so your skills will be challenged and developed constantly. You'll work with Creatives and Social & Content Managers who are obsessive about craft and culture, inside a company that backs bold.

How you'll help us grow

Film and edit content across a range of formats: short-form social, long-form, product, lifestyle, reactive and campaign

Shoot on location and in studio, adapting to any brief

Use generative AI, motion and mixed media to push what content can look and feel like

Maintain high craft standards, from framing to colour grade to sound, in every frame

Bring creative concepts to life from briefs and scripts provided by Creatives and Social & Content Managers

Contribute your own ideas: if you see a better angle, say it

Stay platform-native, creating content that looks and feels right for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube

Own your post-production end to end, from raw footage to final cut

What Helps You Win Here

A strong filming and editing portfolio built over 1–3 years, showing range, craft and a real creative point of view

Fluency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci or equivalent: you're fast, clean and skilled

Hands-on experience using generative AI and mixed media tools to create, enhance and push the boundaries of content

Social platform knowledge: you understand what performs, why it performs and how to make it for each platform

A storyteller and self-starter: adaptable, curious, collaborative and fun to be on set with
