Sr Technical Program Manager

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Leadership

• Drive cross-organizational technical programs impacting multiple product and engineering teams.
• Develop and execute technical roadmaps aligning with business priorities.
• Facilitate alignment through collaboration across teams and stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Support prioritization and resource planning to meet organizational goals.

Program Management

• Oversee program lifecycles, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and delivery.
• Manage dependencies across engineering and product teams to ensure successful program outcomes.
• Establish program execution frameworks that improve team performance and delivery consistency.
• Define and monitor program success metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Technical Collaboration

• Partner with engineers and architects to shape solutions for scalability, reliability, and platform evolution.
• Support decision-making for architectural alignment and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate on efforts to ensure readiness for implementation and execution.

Risk & Dependency Management

• Identify risks and dependencies affecting project timelines or goals, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Resolve cross-team conflicts by facilitating clear communication and problem-solving.
• Support contingency planning for critical areas or high-impact challenges.

Stakeholder Communication

• Provide updates on program progress, risks, and challenges to leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Develop concise and actionable reports that enable data-driven decisions.
• Communicate trade-offs and dependencies to support informed prioritization.

Operational Effectiveness

• Facilitate improvements in platform scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Drive standardization of program governance processes and best practices.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in program execution and delivery methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years in technical program management, engineering, or related fields with proven success in delivering cross-functional programs.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, SaaS solutions, and modern software architectures.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to influence and align teams across organizational boundaries.
• Execution Excellence: Experience successfully managing projects with complex dependencies and risks.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Problem-Solving: Strong aptitude for proactively addressing technical and organizational challenges.
